Claire is a decorative artist, she is best known for her paint finishes and murals but enjoys creative work that uses her transferable practical skills and eye for colour matching.
After studying at The Ruskin school of Drawing and Fine Art and RCA she moved back to London, where she honed her skills in specialist painting working for more experienced decorative artists, large heritage decorating companies and small bespoke art studios. She gained experience in National Trust properties, Private Members clubs and working for heritage specialist decoration contractors in private prestigious buildings.
Since then, she has worked in private domestic interiors and hospitality venues all over the UK and Europe. She has broadened her creative skills working for creative studios producing bespoke art installations, painting props, overpainting, restoring painted items and new experiences in scenic work like the art department at the Royal Opera House.
Claire is freelance and continues to work independently and alongside other decorative artists and contractors to achieve the demands a project might require. She has a Gold Heritage CSCS card and is CIS registered, and has done a 3 day first aid course.
From wall textures and murals to beautifully painted furniture, restoration, painting components to blend in and matching patterns, fabrics and scheme. Claire is happy to work with you on your project.
